Disinfecting after a rodent infestation.
DKG Pest Control LTD can provide treatments to disinfect all contaminated areas of domestic and commercial properties, the most common area we carry out disinfecting treatments is the loft spaces of domestic properties after rat infestations.
Our technicians carry ULV (Ultra Low Volume) thermal fogging machines which can be used with disinfectant, odourcide or insecticide. The Exodus ULV System applicator produces almost all its droplets in the optimal range which allows the applied product to access even the smallest cracks and crevices to neutralize any contaminated surfaces.
This treatment can be carried out with you're still in the property if the treatment area can be excluded and sealed or if we are treating an area which can not be excluded the re-entry time is approximately one hour.
The cost of this treatment is calculated by the size of the area to be treated.

Handling materials contaminated with infectious rodent urine.
Inhaling airborne particles caused by sweeping rodent infested spaces.
Handling infected rodents bodies.
Being bitten or scratched by a rodent can transmit microorganisms carried in the rodents saliva can infect both humans and other rodents.
Consuming contaminated water or food.
Dogs, cats and foxes that eat any infected rodents can then catch parasites such as tapeworms that can subsequently be transferred to humans and
rodents can also act as reservoirs for various flying-insect-borne diseases.
A few species of rodents especially rats and mice, have become well adapted to the humanized urban environment, the rodents main benefit of inhabiting urban areas is a plentiful supply of food and shelter.
